Who the course is for?
  

The course is aimed at all childcare professionals and anyone who wants to promote equality and diversity with children and young people.
  

What does it cover?
  

This training supports our understanding of the experience, values and issues of diversity and equality and the legal framework.  It will equip you to promote equality and diversity within a child-centred practice approach.  

The course includes a specially commissioned DVD produced by young people with the Voice participation team.  It includes models of recognising discrimination and its impact and the opportunity to work with peers on dilemmas you face in your own practice.

 

Course information: One-day course including training materials.
