The beginners guide to advocacy and children's rights

In this course we explore the definition of advocacy, the different models available and the role and its boundaries. You will learn about the variety of different settings in which young people live, the systems that surround them and the issues that they face. You will also gain a broad overview of the legislation that you will need to be working to effect positive change for young people within the care system.
