Being a Voice: the ultimate training in children's rights and advocacy
‘Being a Voice’ is a highly interactive three-day course that equips you to advocate with children and young people in need and in the public care system and to promote their rights, participation and empowerment.
You will learn the relevant legislation and guidance to champion young people’s rights and enable them to make informed choices about their situation. You will consider the values that underpin advocacy and rights-based work and really consider how it looks in practice to leave children fully empowered, listened to and supported to gain advocacy and negotiation skills of their own.
