It's OUR voice: participative event facilitation

Do you want to bring people together to contribute views, share ideas and develop plans for creative and collaborative action?

Experienced facilitators can help revolutionise your approach to participative event management, using Open Space, World Café and bespoke creative participative methods. We can help you inspire any group from a children’s consultation to a professional’s conference.

Feedback from participants

Each group covered a lot of ground in a short time and was forced to make recommendations rather than just be a talking shop with no outcomes.”

Really made me feel included. Was lovely, flexible and fluid. Great!”

Congratulations on your Open Space – I think it was a great success” “All the informal, unplanned events helped to develop connections.”

Facilitation was very slick, easy to understand and inclusive.”

Very well facilitated, I believed in the process.”

Brilliant!”

Participative Event Facilitation - How it works

We facilitate a self-managed meeting, conference or event where there is complete ownership by the participants themselves. For example, in Open Space everyone present has the opportunity to convene their own session on any subject that is of importance, concern or passion to them. In World Café the wisdom and experience in the room is shared to achieve positive outcomes in a relaxed, café style environment.

Participative techniques thrive in the most challenging environments and are successful at overcoming barriers to create vision, commitment and community. With sensitive facilitation, everyone present can take ownership and be included regardless of their status, age or experience. No–one is excluded from any conversation and everyone is invited to participate fully.

Child-centred Seminars and Workshops

Experienced Voice staff are available to facilitate participative seminars or workshops and to present key note speeches on any aspect of advocacy, children’s rights and child-centred practice. Our range of training courses give you some idea of our breadth of experience and expertise, or please suggest your own topics in this field. As a child-centred organisation, we will always include young people’s perspective and where possible they will be part of the delivery team.
