It's OUR worker: involving young people in interviews

Voice has always believed in having its young people share in the decisions that get made. This includes having young people interview our new workers to make sure they are of the best standard.

As a way of recognising the talents and contributions of our young people we have developed training in the area of interviewing staff so that young people can both learn new skills and get a certificate recognising their achievement too.

The training will cover all areas of the interview process from the law, why we include young people, how decisions are made, basic human resources and communication skills.

Recommended for any organisation wishing to develop the skills and competencies of its youth representatives and acknowledge their achievements.
